VOTING RIGHTS ACT SUBMISSION

TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION

TAKE NOTICE that the City of Manor, Texas submitted an applicatio to the Department of Justice for pre-clearance, pursuant to the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, of the changes in election procedures for the May 8, 2010 City election.

Pursuant to the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 1973, and 28 C.F.R. Part 51, the City of Manor filed a voting Rights Act Submission with the Department of Justice for pre-clearance of the above referenced election.  the submission is dated Fegbruary 5, 2010.

A complete copy of the Voting Rights Act Submission is available for inspection, review and copying in the office of the City Secretary of the City, located in the City Hall, 201 East Parsons, Manor, Teas.  Such complete duplicate copy is availble to the public during office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The general public is invited to make comments to the Attorney General of the United States regarding such Voting Rights Act Submission and the posting of this notice.  Any interested person is invited to make any such comment in writing addressed to:
